Each piece is carefully crafted using the materials with meticulous attention to detail. Larforma offers a complete bespoke capability, allowing customers to specify dimensions, select finishes, and adapt design details. Unlike mass-produced furniture, each piece is a testament to exceptional design and workmanship, employing traditional techniques such as hand-tied springs, hand-tufting, and hand-finishing. The furniture features durable solid wood frames, glued and screwed joints, reinforced corner blocks, and cushions filled with white goose feathers. Larforma's seamstresses ensure that patterns match perfectly and that the fabric along seams and pleats is smoothly finished.

LARFORMA, established by Manuel Ferreira in 1980, quickly grew in size. By the 1990s, it had invested in larger facilities, transforming into a prominent industrial enterprise. Manuel's commitment, exceptional talent, and long hours ensured the company's success, paving the way for it to be passed down to his family. The next generation, Hugo and Pedro Ferreira, took the reins between 2007 and 2015, gradually expanding the brand's national recognition to an international level.

With a focus on strategy, the brothers always value the opinions of others. Hugo fosters a positive company culture centred around the growth and development of individuals, investing in each person to help them progress. Pedro, creative designer, strives for efficiency, excellence, and uncompromising quality in all aspects of the company. Their craftsmanship pays meticulous attention to historical details, resulting in furniture with a classic sensibility in form, finish, and function.
